Is it true that the little youth club that
used to be at the bottom of Duffern Avenue was bought by
no other than the Town Centre Manager
himself?
Surely, if true, this raises a conflict
of intrest issue. As Town Centre Manager, he would be
aware when the purchase was going to be put out to
tender (if that was the method) and would possibly be on
speaking terms with the powers to be in his professional
role.
I am not suggesting that anything akin to
"insider dealing" was hatching in that little upstair
office in Main Street, but I think it icertainly merits
further investigation.
Come on good vigalanties
of NDBC, get to the bottom of this one. |

this controversy? are these people really that shallow?

I wonder if the TOWN CENTRE MANAGER told
the carpet shop on Abbey Street that he was
'speculating' in property when he sent in an *anon*
complaint to the Planners about their then Corrugated
Iron roof, citing that it was 'not in keeping with the
rest of Abbey Street.' Then the said shop had to remove
it...
Meanwhile Queens Parade resembles parts of
Falluja...are we aiming for a *Post Iraqi* style to our
town??
Or is it just that Mssrs Dunlop &
Polley are on the biggest ego trips ever. f**kin
