WHO!!!! Makes sure he packs the
Platinum Credit Card when he goes on council junkets. ?
He impresses his guests and councillors with his
generosity, especially in the USA. Little do they know,
the RATEPAYERS OF NORTH DOWN pick up the substantial
tab?
WHO!!!! Went three rounds with the former
TOWN CLERK whilst on a council junket to the USA? This
serving councillor, suspected that the well known town
hall letch was making moves on his female American
admirer
WHO!!!! Gave the contract to his friends
security company, to guard the former Winston Hotel
without it going out to tender? This backfired big
style, when it was discovered that they were selling the
contents of the hotel to members of the public.
A
security employee was later prosecuted, whilst the real
gangsters went unscathed.
WHO!!!! Is the local
jack-of-all-trades, master of none, who has not lost a
council tender bid in the last ten years? Over that
period he has carried out work worth tens of thousands
of pounds, with a little help from a high flier, in the
Technical Services Department.
WHO!!!! Is the
councillor who carries on a rather expensive long
distance love affair, whilst his poor unsuspecting wife
is left to look after the shop?
WHO!!!! Are the
two councillors who were elected under false pretence,
having given false addresses prior to the last council
elections, They in fact lived at addresses in Belfast
and not North Down as they claimed.
WHO!!!! Is
the bespectacled councillor, who is seen as a mummies
boy? When it is a in fact well known in certain circles
that he prefers the company of men.

would this by any chance be the councillor
who has a fascination with speed humps and traffic
calming measures??
My mother knows him well...
