I work for Belfast City Council, the
scenario that has caused the very existence of this
website could not happen here.
For example if any
officer gave any ratepayer cause for complaint, then
that compliant would land right on the officers
desk.
He would have to justify his actions etc, there
could be no veil of secrecy or possibility of cover
up.
I think NDBC are wrong to operate any other
way.
Incidently, did you know that Polly recently
applied for the post of Chief Executive in Belfast and
was deemed unsuitable, thats commitment for you.
I
also believe there were great celebrations after he left
Castlereagh council.
